Joining the American Legion is easy! To become a member, simply complete the American Legion Membership application by clicking on the ‘APPLICATION’ button. Remember to print two completed copies – keep one for your records and mail the other, along with your dues payment, to the address provided. Don’t forget to include a copy of your DD214 and a membership dues payment of $45.00 (make checks payable to American Legion Post 283). Once your information is verified, your membership will be approved, and you’ll receive your membership card in the mail. Get started today!

TRANSFERS: Veterans looking to transfer from their current Post to our Post must provide the following: a. Completed Member Data Form.pdf, b. COPY OF DD214, c. COPY OF MEMBERSHIP CARD, d. Membership dues payment ($45.00) if current year dues are unpaid. If current dues are up to date, please ensure payment for next year’s membership. Questions?
